Going to Edmonton!

In this final installment of things to do in Edmonton during fall & winter let's focus on the arts & culture.
Edmonton is home to not just one but two reknowned productions of the Christmas Carol during the festive season.
Treat your ears to the Christmas Carol Project with Edmonton's finest singer songwriters' at the Winspear Centre. Acoustically excellent, architecturally elegant, the Francis Winspear Centre for Music is a stunning, world-class concert hall, ideally situated in the Arts District in the heart of downtown Edmonton.
The Christmas Carol is an equally spectacular production held at the The Citadel Theatre. The Citadel Theatre is a premiere venue for stage productions in Western Canada and is a hot choice for theatre lovers with its five performance venues.
Another great choice is the Alberta Ballet's The Nutcracker set to Tchaikovsky's eternal score. Share in Klara's revelry as she travels to The Palace of the Sugar Plum Fairy in a wintery wonderland.
Explore Edmonton's wealth of visual art on display in over 60 galleries and public exhibits including the Gallery Walk, the first of its kind in Canada. Don't miss the Lando Gallery in downtown Edmonton.
